Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called LRX712, given as injections into the knee, to see if it can help regrow cartilage in people with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. The trial involved 45 participants and compared the drug to a placebo over 8 weeks. The main goal was to measure changes in cartilage volume using advanced MRI scans, while also checking safety and how the body processes the drug.
