New hope for controlling devastating seizures in severe childhood epilepsies

Summary
This study is testing the long-term safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug called LP352 for reducing seizures in children and adults with severe developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs), such as Dravet and Lennox-Gastaut syndromes. It is open to about 324 people who have already completed earlier LP352 studies. The main goal is to see how well the drug controls seizures over time and to monitor for any side effects during approximately 14 months of treatment.
