New study aims to boost lifesaving heart test rates

Summary
This study looks at ways to help doctors test more patients for a genetic heart risk factor called Lp(a). High Lp(a) increases heart disease risk, but testing is not done often enough. The study will involve 4500 adults in clinics and compare testing rates before and after new strategies are put in place.
