New injection shows promise for rare kidney disease

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called LP-005 for people with kidney disease caused by an overactive immune system (complement system). The drug is given as an injection alongside standard care. About 46 adults aged 18-65 will take part to see if it helps control kidney damage and reduce the need for dialysis.
