First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining two non-invasive therapies—infrared light and electrical nerve stimulation—can reduce lower leg swelling caused by nerve-related blood flow problems. About 1000 adults with acute lower extremity swelling are enrolled. The goal is to see if the treatment works, not to cure the underlying condition.
