Half the dose, same protection? trial aims to make common procedure safer

Summary
This study is testing if a lower dose of a rectal anti-inflammatory drug (indomethacin) works as well as the standard dose to prevent painful pancreas inflammation after an ERCP procedure. Over 1,300 adults scheduled for ERCP will be randomly given either the low or standard dose before their procedure. The goal is to see if the lower dose provides the same protection with potentially fewer side effects.
