First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scanner that uses less energy than standard machines. The goal is to see if it can still produce clear pictures of the heart, especially for people with metal implants or during procedures using metal tools. About 2,950 healthy adults and people with heart disease will be scanned, and some will also get a standard MRI for comparison.
