Summary
This study tested whether a lighter exercise method using blood flow restriction cuffs works as well as heavy weightlifting for reducing low back pain in male athletes aged 18-24. Sixty-four athletes with sub-acute pain (lasting 4-12 weeks) were split into two groups. The goal was to see if the lighter method could ease pain and improve function with less strain on the spine.
