Laser zaps could speed up braces and cut pain
NCT ID NCT07591948
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether low-level laser therapy (LLLT) can speed up tooth movement and reduce pain during orthodontic treatment. Thirty people aged 15-30 who need braces will receive standard orthodontic care, with half also getting laser treatment. Researchers will measure tooth movement and pain levels over 8 weeks to see if the laser helps.
