NCT ID NCT07225322

First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a non-invasive ultrasound device can safely stimulate a deep brain region in 20 people with autism aged 13-25. Researchers will check for side effects and measure changes in social skills, emotion recognition, and brain activity. The goal is to see if this gentle sound-wave approach is safe enough for larger studies.
