Summary
This study tested whether a low-FODMAP diet helps people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) feel better. 183 adults with IBS were split into two groups: one learned about the diet, the other did not. Over six months, researchers tracked symptoms and quality of life to see if the diet made a difference.
