Diet change offers hope for millions with IBS
NCT ID NCT07299305
Summary
This study tested whether a low FODMAP diet, which restricts certain hard-to-digest carbohydrates, can ease symptoms and improve life quality for people with IBS. Researchers compared 183 adults with IBS, with one group following the special diet and the other continuing their usual eating habits. They tracked symptoms, quality of life, and how well people stuck to the diet over six months.
