Breathing easier after surgery? study tests anesthesia technique

NCT ID NCT07085546

Summary

This study observed patients having chest surgery where only one lung is used for breathing. It compared two methods of delivering anesthesia gas to see if a low-flow method affects how well the lungs work during surgery and how much oxygen patients need afterward. The goal was to gather information to help make anesthesia safer for future patients.
