New triple therapy aims to shrink stomach tumors before surgery

Summary

This study tests whether giving a low dose of radiation along with immunotherapy (tirelizumab) and chemotherapy (SOX) before surgery can help shrink advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer. The goal is to see if this combination leads to no cancer being found in the removed tissue. About 32 adults with stage cT4N+M0 cancer will take part.
