NCT ID NCT07035301
First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving a small amount of muscle relaxant during bronchoscopy (a procedure to look inside the lungs) helps reduce complications like throat spasms and coughing. 153 adults having elective bronchoscopy took part. Half received low-dose muscle relaxants during anesthesia, and half did not. The researchers checked how well the breathing tube was placed, how often throat spasms occurred, and how much coughing or movement happened during the procedure.
