Microdosing LSD shows promise for ADHD control in groundbreaking trial
NCT ID NCT05200936
Summary
This study tested whether repeated low doses of LSD (about 20% of a typical recreational dose) could safely help control ADHD symptoms in adults. Fifty-three adults with ADHD received either the LSD treatment or a placebo twice weekly for six weeks in a blinded study. Researchers measured changes in attention, hyperactivity, and overall functioning to see if this unconventional approach could offer a new treatment option.
