First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether a low dose of a protein called IL-2 can increase certain immune cells (Tregs) in women who have had at least 5 unexplained early miscarriages. The goal was to see if this approach could help the body accept a pregnancy instead of rejecting it. 18 women took part in this early-phase trial to measure changes in their immune system.
