New drug trial targets resistant lung cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug lorlatinib can help control advanced lung cancer with a specific genetic change (ROS1-positive) after the first targeted treatment has stopped working. It will involve about 54 adults whose cancer has continued to grow despite prior therapy. The main goal is to see if lorlatinib can shrink tumors and control the disease, including any that may have spread to the brain.
