New combination therapy tested for common male urinary woes

NCT ID NCT06568718

Summary

This study tested whether adding a medication called Longidaze to standard tamsulosin treatment works better for improving urinary symptoms in men with an enlarged prostate. Researchers compared the combination treatment against tamsulosin alone in 229 men over 130 days. The main goal was to see if the combination reduced symptom severity more effectively and was safe for patients.
