Summary
This early-stage study tested a new, longer-acting version of a common hormone-controlling drug (octreotide). It aimed to see how the body processes the drug and if it's safe for people with acromegaly or certain gut/pancreatic tumors (GEP-NETs). The trial involved 19 participants but was terminated before completion.
