Summary
This study tested a once-daily extended-release tablet called K-877 in 121 adults with high triglycerides (a type of blood fat). Participants took the pill for 52 weeks, starting at 0.2 mg and increasing to 0.4 mg if needed. The goal was to see if the drug safely lowers triglyceride and cholesterol levels over the long term.
