Summary
This study aimed to see if a medication called MP-214 is safe and effective for long-term use in people with chronic schizophrenia or elderly patients with schizophrenia. It involved 125 participants who were either in the chronic phase of the illness or between 65 and 74 years old. The main goal was to monitor side effects and see how well the drug worked over an extended period.
