Scientists track Long-Term safety of approved growth hormone
NCT ID NCT05775523
Summary
This study aims to monitor the long-term safety of an already approved growth hormone treatment called lonapegsomatropin. It will follow 500 children with growth hormone deficiency in the US and Europe who are already receiving this treatment in real-world settings. The main goal is to watch for potential long-term side effects, such as tumors or diabetes, and compare the rates to what is already known from medical literature.
