Summary

This study aimed to understand the long-term safety of a medication called ZX008 (fenfluramine) when used alongside other treatments for severe, rare seizure disorders like Dravet and Lennox-Gastaut syndromes. It involved 412 patients who had already benefited from the drug in earlier studies and continued treatment for an extended period. The main goal was to track side effects and see if the drug's benefits in reducing seizures and improving daily life were maintained over time.
