Stem cell eye therapy: what happens years later?
NCT ID NCT03167203
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study follows people who received a stem cell treatment for macular degenerative disease to see if any health problems appear more than 5 years later. About 36 participants will fill out a yearly questionnaire about eye issues, infections, immune disorders, cancer, and other serious events. The goal is to understand the long-term safety of this experimental therapy, not to test if it works.
