New kidney procedure shows promise for stubborn high blood pressure

Summary

This study looks at the long-term safety and effectiveness of a procedure called renal denervation for people with resistant hypertension (high blood pressure that doesn't respond well to medication). About 500 participants in China will be followed for up to 36 months after the procedure. The main goal is to see if their blood pressure stays lower over time.
