Summary
This study tested a daily pill called ETC-1002 in 130 adults with very high LDL ("bad") cholesterol who could not take statins or did not get enough help from them. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and lowers cholesterol over 52 weeks. Results showed the drug reduced LDL cholesterol and was generally well-tolerated, offering a new option for managing high cholesterol long-term.
