New hope for nerve disease: long-term drug trial underway

Summary
This study looks at the long-term safety and effects of a drug called ARGX-117 in adults with multifocal motor neuropathy, a condition that causes muscle weakness. About 51 people who completed an earlier trial will receive the drug intravenously over an extended period. The goal is to see if the drug remains safe and helps maintain muscle strength over time.
