First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study followed 72 people with Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy (PCV), an eye condition that can cause vision loss, for 5 years after their first treatment. Researchers wanted to see how often the disease comes back, what treatments were needed over time, and whether early treatment success led to better long-term vision. The goal is to help doctors better predict and manage PCV in the future.
