Researchers track eye disease patients for years to predict future outcomes
NCT ID NCT03929731
Summary
This study followed 72 patients with an eye condition called polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) for about 5 years after their initial treatment in earlier trials. The goal was to understand the long-term course of the disease, including how often it comes back and what treatments patients need over time. Researchers checked patients' vision and eye health to see if early treatment success led to better long-term results.
