NCT ID NCT06291675
Summary
This study aims to understand the long-term effects of gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) on heart health, body fat distribution, metabolism, and psychological well-being. Researchers will follow 60 transgender men and women for up to 10 years, using MRI scans, blood tests, and questionnaires. The goal is to gather detailed information to help improve future care, as most prior research has only looked at short-term effects.
