Summary

This study followed adults with moderate to severe alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition causing hair loss, to see how safe and effective the drug CTP-543 is over a long period. It was an extension study for 407 people who had already taken the drug in a previous trial. The main goals were to check for side effects and measure how well the treatment continued to help regrow hair over two years.
