NCT ID NCT04312672

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study followed 42 people with X-linked retinitis pigmentosa, an inherited eye disease that causes vision loss, for up to 5 years after they received a gene therapy. The goal was to check the long-term safety of the treatment and see if it helped with functional vision, like walking in low light. Participants had already received the gene therapy in an earlier trial.
