Summary
This study aimed to understand the long-term safety and effectiveness of the seizure medication brivaracetam in children and young adults (ages 2-26) with childhood or juvenile absence epilepsy. It followed 84 participants who had previously taken the drug in a related study to see how well they tolerated it and if it kept them seizure-free over time. The main goal was to track side effects and measure how many participants remained free of their specific type of seizures.
