Can eating less now make you healthier decades later? scientists check back in
NCT ID NCT05651620
Summary
This study is checking back on people who were in a trial 10-15 years ago where some ate fewer calories for two years. Researchers want to see if that period of calorie restriction led to any lasting improvements in health, aging, and physical function. They are measuring many health markers in the original 216 participants to understand the long-term 'legacy' effects.
