Microscope study to reveal hidden effects of cavity treatment on baby teeth

NCT ID NCT07586631

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This study examines baby teeth that were previously treated for cavities with either silver diamine fluoride plus a filling or just a filling alone. Researchers will look at the teeth under a microscope to see how the treatment affected the inner pulp. The goal is to understand the long-term effects on tooth health, not to provide a new treatment.
