Can a surgical boost make dental implant treatments last?
NCT ID NCT07208643
Summary
This study follows 34 patients for three years to see which treatment for a serious dental implant infection (peri-implantitis) works better over the long term. It compares a non-surgical cleaning approach to a more involved treatment that adds bone-grafting surgery. The goal is to find out which method better controls the infection and prevents it from coming back.
