NCT ID NCT07530107

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026

Summary

This study looks back at 20 years of medical records from 300 patients who had a heart device (pacemaker or defibrillator) removed due to infection. The goal is to learn about long-term health outcomes, including survival and hospital readmissions, and to guide decisions on when and if a new device should be implanted. No new treatments are given; the study simply gathers existing data to improve future care.
