Summary
This study tested the safety and effectiveness of a new extended-release pill (K-877 ER) for lowering high triglycerides, a type of fat in the blood, over one year. It involved 121 adults with dyslipidemia who took the pill daily, with the dose adjusted if needed. The goal was to see how well the medication controlled cholesterol levels with long-term use.
