Tracking stroke risk years after artery stent procedure

NCT ID NCT06470815

Summary

This study follows patients for up to five years after they received a specific stent system to open a narrowed neck artery (carotid artery) to prevent strokes. It aims to see how well the stent works long-term and monitor risks like new strokes or the artery narrowing again. The study includes 197 people who were already part of a previous trial and received the stent system.
