Extended trial tests new drug for rare hormone disorder
NCT ID NCT06712823
Summary
This study aims to learn about the long-term safety and effectiveness of the experimental drug atumelnant (CRN04894) for people with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), a rare genetic hormone condition. It is open to about 150 people who have already taken this drug in a previous Crinetics study and, in their doctor's opinion, could benefit from continuing it. The main goals are to monitor side effects and see how well the drug controls key hormone levels over an extended period.
