Blood cancer patients continue experimental drug in long-term safety trial

NCT ID NCT05223920

Summary

This study followed patients with blood cancers called myeloproliferative neoplasms who had already been taking the experimental drug bomedemstat in earlier trials. The goal was to check the long-term safety and effectiveness of continuing this daily oral medication. Researchers monitored side effects and whether the drug continued to help control disease symptoms like enlarged spleen and high platelet counts.
