Summary
This study checked the long-term safety of an experimental acne medication called ASC40 (Denifanstat) tablets. It involved 240 people with moderate to severe acne who had already completed a previous 12-week study. Participants took the pill once daily for up to 40 weeks while doctors monitored for side effects and also tracked how well the acne cleared up.
