NCT ID NCT07361848

First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special type of exercise (long-hold isometric holds) can reduce pain and improve function in competitive weightlifters with patellar tendinopathy, also known as jumper's knee. About 24 athletes will either do the supervised exercise program or continue their usual training. Researchers will measure pain, tendon health via ultrasound, and performance to see if this approach offers relief.
