New monthly injection could simplify schizophrenia treatment

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new long-acting injectable version of the medication KarXT for people with schizophrenia. Researchers will give 48 participants single injections at different dose levels to check how safe the treatment is and how long the drug stays in the body. The goal is to find a dose that could eventually allow for less frequent injections compared to daily pills.
