New monthly shot aims to control HIV when pills fail

Summary
This study is testing a long-acting, injectable HIV treatment for people whose current daily pill regimen is not fully controlling the virus. About 332 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new monthly injections or continue their standard oral medication. The main goal is to see if the injections are more effective at suppressing the virus to undetectable levels and are safe and tolerable for people in this situation.
