First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a local injection of multiple pain medicines works as well as regional anesthesia (a nerve block) for controlling pain after ankle fracture surgery. About 200 adults with a specific type of ankle break will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the local injection can reduce pain, lower complications, and cut costs.
