Surgery sequence puzzle: which tumor to remove first?
NCT ID NCT07272928
Summary
This study looks at patients with colon cancer that has spread to the liver who need surgery to remove both tumors at the same time. Researchers want to know if it's better to remove the liver tumors first or the colon tumor first. They will review past medical records of 500 patients to compare complications, recovery, and cancer outcomes between the two approaches.
