Massive 5,000-Patient study tracks new sound wave treatment for liver cancer

Summary
This study aims to gather real-world information on how well a non-invasive, focused ultrasound treatment works for people with liver tumors. It will enroll up to 5,000 patients to see how different patient and treatment factors affect the initial success of the procedure. The main goal is to collect data on the treatment's use in standard medical practice and observe patient outcomes for up to five years.
