Pill could spare young women risky liver surgery
NCT ID NCT06490757
Summary
This trial is testing if a pill called baricitinib can shrink large, non-cancerous liver tumors called inflammatory hepatocellular adenomas. The goal is to see if this 6-month drug treatment can reduce tumor size enough to help young women avoid major liver surgery, which carries risks and scarring. Researchers will use MRI scans to measure changes in tumor size in 25 participants.
